Happy Dec 30th

These are my last days here at Colleton State Park.  I've really enjoyed my time here , but now to move on to the next state park still here in SC. Here are some pictures . 

another cold Dec morning

Well its still cold here. Yesterday I was saying how the water line on the trees  seem to be high . Well the pictures will show you a better view.It's true I have seen the water at the water lines. Summer of course is prettier than winter.

A cold winter morning at Colleton SP

With all the rain we had  for 3 full days has raised the Edisto River by a few feet over time of course. Today its 5'7. So the beach is going away.  The area is walked last week by the cypress knees now all has water around them.

Foggy Dec morning at Colleton SP

Good morning y'all,  I hope yall have a great day. My day started of a bit foggy, but it makes for great pictures.  I don't know what it is about fog, a bridge or even a windmill  i just love seeing in the fog. Refections on the water. Sorry no windmills .

Morning walk thru the cypress trees

Good morning yall.. I hope yall had a great Thanksgiving.  I did i spent it with the other hosts and 2 rangers. Great food and good people to share it with. This is Sunday morning the last day of Nov.  2025. Hard to believe that in a month and a day it will be the new year. Well here is where  my walk took me.  I hope you enjoy these pictures.

Almost Thanksgiving 2025

Happy early Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone has a great day with family and friends.  It gets a little nippy when the sun starts to go down.  Yes I have a fire going.  

Yes my tree is decorated even my rabbit an donkey  are both getting into the spirit

The colors around the water are just cool.  I know I'm just taking lots of pictures, but some are just super cool! ( at least I think so lol)
