raining day

Just a raining icky day. Thunderstorms today. But of course the water birds are out. It's cooler again today high of 71. Also I saw my first copperhead snake yesterday.  Just a juvenile.  I was told the the Hawks take care of most of tge snakes here. I hope yall have a great day.

another beautiful morning

Hello all they say it's quiet before the storm well. Thunderstorms this afternoon and most of tomorrow is going to be bad weather.  Sunrise wasn't as beautiful as yesterday,  but still beautiful in its own way. Of course I stopped to talk to a camper or two on my walk this morning.  A couple of ladies were from Adirondack mountain area in NY.  They were headed towards warmer weather. The other lived not far from here just needed to get away. And found the Little Pee Dee to stay at.  Awesome choice.  I did get some more pictures with my camera . Even a woodpecker on the ground. Looking for food. I thought it was unusual for sure. Enough talking here are the pictures of this morning.  I hope y'all enjoy them.

Beautiful morning

Good morning y'all.  I hope everyone has a great day. It was super beautiful this morning.  I was eating breakfast as I was looking out the window and saw an amazing sight, one is haven't seen in for ever. So I walked down to get my pictures.  So after my work was done . I noticed there was a lot of kids in our kinda packed campground.  So I started walking around giving out my camp critters to everyone.  I even got breakfast in return for some. How wonderful it is to be a camphost!!! I truly love it. You meet so many wonderful people of all walks of life.  Well yall have a fantastic day and weekend. 

another foggy &cold morning

Hello yall,

The day before yesterday was a beautiful 87 degrees day. Yesterday was 70 tgen the rain came in and the temperature dropped drastically to 52 degrees.  Then over night it was 30 degrees this morning, but high of 64. I did get some beautiful pictures this morning while I was cleaning the sites. I hope y'all like them as much as I do. Have a wonderful day.

Little foggy this morning

Hello everyone,  

Yes , I'm still at The Little Pee Dee State Park.  It was a little foggy again this morning.  The campground is pretty full this weekend  which is always a good thing. Lots of families,  kids all over. It's great. Well here are a few pictures from today. Temperature is going to be around 81 which is nice too.
