snow Feb 1,2026

Good morning everyone. I hope y'all are enjoying your winter weather. We'll here in SC they usually say we will get lots of snow and then we get nothing or even just 1-2 inches. Well they did say 6-8 inches for us here in Dillon.  I asked Google what is the normal snow fall was for the Dillon,SC area . The response was no snow but if any 1 inch. Years past no snow what do ever. The park even told us this was the most snow they have ever gotten here at the park.  Here are lots of pictures  so y'all can enjoy them in your warm place.

Hello everyone,  I'm still here at the Little Pee Dee State Park. It started snow/ sleet last night, then about 3:30 pm it started snowing.  They don't normally get any snow here in Dillon,  SC  if they do it's only about 1 inch. We'll it's already more than that now. It's more like 2-3 inches so far today. More coming tonight. The roof collapsed again from the weight of  the snow. I cleared it off and then again about 6:30 pm . I hope it doesn't get that bad tonight. If it does I'll clear it off again in the morning.  I hope to get some more pictures in the morning.

Good morning everyone.  I hope y'all have a great day and warmer day than mine has started out. Its only going to be 45 high with 8 mph winds. But I did get out for the sunrise this morning . I hope y'all are enjoying this pictures.

16 degree morning

Good morning y'all.  I hope y'all have a great day . Mine started out freezing at 16 degrees. It's only going to be 40 high today. I walked my 2 miles(1 each way) to the mailbox. I walked down to the water before I started my walk. Henry the heron was down there. He finally saw me and flow off yelling at me.  Lol . Well I tried to get pictures of him flying off, but they are not too good.  I'll still post them.

Hello everyone.  The storm came on Sunday, but Saturday was lots of high winds.  Like 22-25mph.  I had to put the awning in. Then Sunday rain / sleet mostly all day. The campground was closed due to the weather. No one could walk on rocks ,sideways due to ice. So here it is Monday it was still raining all night and this morning.  Well still very cold . I opened the blinds and saw that my gazebo had caved in from the ice. I got it back up, but i had to get the broom out to help pull off all the ice off the top ( so I could push it up). I hope yall have a great day.

Calm before the storm 22Jan26

Just a beautiful day. But starting tomorrow night might be rain ,sleet combo. 60% sleet, so it's going to be a bad weekend.  I went to Food Lion to get my spring water.( I like the square jugs) then I went to Walmart to get the rest of my monthly groceries.  They were out of all kinda of water, half of the shelf of bread was gone and lots of other things too. Thank goodness I didn't need of that. So I came back and decided to start a fire since I'm still off today. Completely empty campground.  I take that back we do have 1 camper here till Monday.  

Just another day Jan 21

Hello everyone.  When I got up this morning at 430am I was getting ready to go to the beach . So I hope out to take the cover off the truck... it was frozen on the top of the camper shell. So at 5am I'm out there trying to get the cover off. It's only 21 degrees.  I had to get the step stool so I could get it off. It was tough but I got it off. Now I'm at the beach kinda missed sunrise, but still got some good shots. Now for brunch with a good friend at Cracker Barrel .  I hope yall have a great day!!
