Just another nice day

This is 2 days combined. 18th and 20th  Feb. Not much as to campers coming in we did have about 5 come in but mostly they are just using this park as a stop over to go back home. So just a couple of days. Here are some more pics of the squirrels  at my site. And the water today. The squirrels are just too funny. They think I have food for them so they come up very close then I tell them no food they run away. Lol.

They stay on the tree with one leg under themselves. 

Charlotte, NC

I has a great day in Charlotte  today( Wed 18th Feb) I went to see friends and do the grave.  That part of the trip is always hard for me to do, but seeing friends I consider family is always awesome! My husband worked with both of the guys. Now one is  gone so they are laughing and have a great time together. First stop was to Annette has a great visit. Just wish it was longer. So then I went to the graves to put flowers there. My dad , my mom ( my parents are on the military side),my grandparents and my husband. They are on the other side of the road. Then off to see a classmate . We met at the Sports Bar in the Coulwood area. Nice little place. We had lunch and had a great talk about everyone.  She was a year behind me in school.  I haven't seen her since then.  (1983). She gave me a very cute multi color skull ( belated Christmas/birthday). I love it.  Then off to another park to see if there was a site I could stay at before I ho to have the roof done. I was talking to a ranger there and found a great pull thru site.  Then they told me to put in an application to be their camphost.  Then I went to see Frank and Delores and spent some time with them . It was a really good visit just too short. Hopefully next time we can spend more time together.  Then the long trip home well back my home on wheels.

Good morning y'all,  I hope yall have a great day,! It looks like it's going to be a very nice day. I think the animals,  geese, herons think it's spring due to the great weather. I can only hope so. 

There is a pair of ducks too with the geese.

Hello everyone. We have a few campers finally. It's getting warmer  so more people are coming out. The water and area still looks the same. It's always pretty to see. 

Happy Friday 13th

Good morning y'all! Still cold here I did got out for a walk. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, too when the weather gets warmer. On my way back up I saw a hornet cone on some trees. I thought it was unusual but cool. ( as long as no hornets on it I'm ok). I hope yall enjoy the pictures.  

Pee Dee farmers market

I went out exploring in Darlington, SC today. I went to the Pee Dee farmers market. Lots of vendors.  Busy season is starting in March. There was a few vendors there today. I went to one which is a large store called Two Girls treasure.  Awesome place to go to lots of stuff.  The lady that works there was a wonderful person.  I hope yall have a great day too.

I only took 1 picture while there. It was a memorial of one of the vendors that had worked there. And had passed.

snow Feb 1,2026

Good morning everyone. I hope y'all are enjoying your winter weather. We'll here in SC they usually say we will get lots of snow and then we get nothing or even just 1-2 inches. Well they did say 6-8 inches for us here in Dillon.  I asked Google what is the normal snow fall was for the Dillon,SC area . The response was no snow but if any 1 inch. Years past no snow what do ever. The park even told us this was the most snow they have ever gotten here at the park.  Here are lots of pictures  so y'all can enjoy them in your warm place.
