It's getting cold here at Bluewater State park

It's getting very cold here at the park. Some morning's it is anywhere between 7-22 degrees ,just a little cold. I am still out walking the dogs at 6am every morning. I enjoy the sunrise over the mountains and the reflections on the water, its just breath taking. Here are some pictures from the past few days. We had a few "Wild horses" come to visit us at the park, too. They got up close and personal with us.Walter was helping me put insulation under the RV and then we saw the horses. Too cool. I hope you enjoy !!!!

Bluewater Lake State Park, Prewitt,NM

I am at my new home for the next few months. They have lots of places to walk and take pictures. There is a dam and the lake is very large. The lake is 7 miles long and has a surface of 2,350 acres. It is up to 65 feet deep .  The dam is 100 feet high and 500 feet long. The last time the water spilled over the dam was in 1941. I walked to the bottom of the dam today with Walter ( the other camp host). It was beautiful but you can see for yourself and make your on decisions.
This is part of the lake
