Wildlife on the canal pond

Well I got a photo / hunters blind / tent and I went up on the canal  levee and set up my tent . Well I was sitting there waiting. Then all of a sudden a nutria came up on the shore, then a Wilson's Snipe came around looking for food.I also saw lots of frogs . They look so cool cause the only thing you see is their big eyes.It also looks like its sticking out its tongue. Then there was a splash  to the side I didn't have the window open to. By the time it came to the front of the tent it was an Osprey with a bluegill in its talons. how cool it that to get to capture it on film (well digital ) . Animals in the wild Here at EE Wilson Wildlife area Oregon

As the dogs and I were walking about 530-6 am we were coming  by the pheasant pens there was an Owl.Then we were walking around the pond saw the heron and then down one of the side street . I was not thinking of seeing anything more than deer if that.Well we saw 2 Elk. Then as we finished up our walk we saw a coyote watching us.. Well today we were out again and there was a Red tail Hawk sitting up on a power pole by the archery field. It saw us and decided it wanted to find breakfast somewhere else..  Hope you enjoy the pictures ...

I have gone to several more lighthouses. Some are the same as others. But then some are totally different. The area that they are in are cool.

The Tillamock Air Muesum

                We went to the Tillamock Air Museum.  It is an old air craft carrier bay. There is also a very large plane outside. Now they keep and show different kinds of air crafts there for show. We get to go into the plane it reminds me of my flight in the C-130 back in high school with the ROTC. There was a raccoon in the rafters as you walk outside to see the plan. I thought it was a stuffed animal but it was a live. As you all know I like to talk to the animals. No they don't talk back that is one good thing. LOL So when it finally looked down at me and moved I knew for sure it was a live.  I hope you enjoy these pictures. I just wish I could have posted more.

The Mears Lighthouse

This light house is very unique. It  used to have candles Then they changed to the sun to power it with lots of glass to reflect to the light. It has a spiral staircase.Unique rocks in the ocean. The fog rolls in almost as fast as it clears up. I hope y'all enjoy the pictures
